Like all of you, our team at Zizzo Group has been doing our best to adapt to socially-distanced work and living in light of the coronavirus outbreak. Early on, we decided that we didn’t want our COVID-19 response to add to the seemingly endless cycle of bad news we’d been hearing and reading about. Instead, we wanted to do something that would help our communities – and ourselves – avoid dwelling in the negativity.
That’s why we created Share Lemonade – a space where people can go to celebrate positivity, foster community, and acknowledge all of the good things that are still happening each day, even during quarantine. Share Lemonade is an echo chamber of hope, and a reminder that we’re all in this together – even while we’re apart.
In just one week since the site launched, we’ve already received an overwhelmingly-positive response from countless members of our community and from other local businesses as well. Buildings and landmarks all over Milwaukee helped us share lemonade this past weekend by turning their lights yellow as a symbol of hope and solidarity. This Lemonade Light Up event is just one of the many ways Share Lemonade has already brought us all a bit closer together. And we’ve only just begun.
We’re going to keep sharing lemonade, and you can help! Keep submitting your own lemonade stories on www.ShareLemonade.com, or use our #ShareLemonade tag in your good news posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Thank you to everyone who has been helping us celebrate the good.
