Big City Trucks Roll In For Free Family Fun

Milwaukee's Annual Big Truck Round Up! 

Red Arrow Park | Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 11 AM - 2 PM

Celebrate National Public Works Week with a fleet of the City's big rigs parked around Red Arrow Park. Kids will enjoy a unique opportunity to explore various trucks and meet the people who operate them!

New this year, kids will get the chance to meet and take photos with a beloved "Hero Pup," plus enjoy hourly giveaways.

To provide a quality experience for all guests, a sensory-friendly hour will be offered from 1 PM to 2 PM, at which time no horns or sirens will take place.

Rain date is Saturday, June 1 from 11 AM - 2 PM.

Activities include: 

  • Arts & crafts with Artists Working in Education (A.W.E.)
  • Milwaukee Public Library's Bookmobile
  • Free face painting 
  • Bubble playtime 
  • Photo ops with a beloved Hero Pup
  • Book sale with Friends of Milwaukee Public Library

Giveaways: Enjoy free giveaways at 11 AM, 12 PM and 1 PM from the Milwaukee Downtown tent, including:

  • 250 pairs of sunglasses (child-sized)
  • 250 play construction hats (child-sized, approximate head circumference 19")
  • 250 traffic cone foam toys

Food options: Enjoy lunch and dessert options from food trucks at the event, including Azteca Restaurant MKE, Flour Girl & Flame, Tanya's Food Truck, and Chillwaukee.

Parking: Park for just $3 at the 1000 N Water Street parking structure. Enter on Market Street between State and Highland. No code needed to redeem the $3 rate.
