Milwaukee Celebrates the NFL Draft in Brew City Style

Whether you’re a diehard Packers fan, a fantasy football junkie, or just in it for the beer and brats, Milwaukee Tailgate Week presented by Potawatomi Sportsbook is the perfect excuse to throw on your jersey, fire up the grill, and celebrate like it’s game day. Here’s how to partake in the NFL Draft experience while celebrating in true Brew City fashion!

Pre-Draft Kickoff Parties & Bar Events: 
Milwaukee knows how to throw a party, and plenty of local bars and breweries are hosting NFL Draft watch parties. Spots like Uncle Bucks and Milwaukee Brat House are rolling out special deals for team-themed nights! The whole week during the draft, City Tours MKE will be offering an “NFL Milwaukee Tour,” highlighting sites and landmarks that played a role in the city’s part in NFL history. Plus, several local businesses are offering daily shuttle service between Milwaukee and Green Bay, including Milwaukee Food & City Tours!

Potawatomi Sportsbook: Milwaukee Tailgate Central - Thursday, April 24
Celebrate the first day of the 2025 NFL Draft at Potawatomi Sportsbook! Enjoy delicious food and drinks all week long, while placing new bets and scoring big! There will be Potawatomi football-themed hotel packages as well! So, get ready for an unforgettable week! 

Tailgate Talk Live Luncheon - Friday, April 25 
On day two of Milwaukee Tailgate Week presented by Potawatomi Sportsbook, join Sports Milwaukee for an amazing experience at the Tailgate Talk Live Luncheon at South Second: A Saz’s Hospitality Group Property, 838 S. 2nd Street. This live luncheon will feature conversations with Milwaukee-area greats with deep roots in our fabulous city from 11:30am to 1pm. Special guests will share stories about their own football journeys, and attendees get to enjoy delicious food and great networking opportunities.
 
Milwaukee Downtown’s Random Acts of Kindness - Saturday, April 26
On Saturday, April 26, Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21 will help welcome football fans to our turf. The organization’s Public Service Ambassadors will give away 200 koozies and 200 football-shaped stress balls at Baird Community Commons, just outside Baird Center on Vel R. Phillips Avenue. The giveaway begins at 1 p.m. and includes games and informational resources for visitors.

Jordy Nelson’s Milwaukee Tailgate with Inside the Huddle Live! - Saturday, April 26
Taking place at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, wrap up the week with Jordy Nelson’s Milwaukee Tailgate! Enjoy a live taping of Inside the Huddle with Jordy Nelson, Mason Crosby, and Nick Collins, plus Packers player appearances, an audience Q&A, auctions, and a football-themed tailgate zone with games and entertainment including mascots from the Brewers, Admirals, Wave, Milkmen, and more! The taping begins at 5pm with the tailgate experience beginning at 3pm.

Milwaukee might not be hosting the NFL Draft, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate like champions. Tailgate Week is a chance to bring your love for football, food, and community together – Milwaukee style. So, grab your friends, raise a pint, and get ready to cheer as your team makes its pick.
