Ghoulish Delights Planned for Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee, Oct. 28

The Halloween family festival returns on October 28 from 11 AM - 2 PM

Jack-O-Lantern JubileeDowntown's beloved family-friendly Halloween festival, the Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee presented by WaterStone Bank, returns on Saturday, October 28 from 11 AM - 2 PM in Red Arrow Park. City Hall's backyard will transform into the quintessential fall festival, featuring a free pumpkin patch sponsored by Metro Market and Pick 'n Save, fulfilled by Kroger Delivery. The first 500 guests will have the opportunity to choose their favorite pumpkin, plus paint and decorate it with Artists Working Education. Other free activities include face painting, bubble playtime, storytime, character meet & greets, and live musical performances.

Starting at 11 AM, enjoy traditional Irish jig from Frogwater, followed by authentic Mexican music from Mariachi Monarcas de Milwaukee at 11:45 AM, and a Mardi Gras-style costume parade, led by none other than Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson and the Extra Crispy Brass Band at 12:30 PM. Then, stick around for our Halloween dance party from 1 PM - 2 PM. Costumes for kids of all ages are encouraged! Kids will also enjoy story time throughout the afternoon with performances by Wanda the Wise "Sand"witch and Wes Tank. 

Plus, don't miss out on our unique vendors for sweet treats and hot apple cider, including Weston's Apple Orchard, Cottonmouth MKE, Pop's Kettle Corn, and the Doughnuttery. Food trucks include Pig Tailz and Rose Mob Grill. The Friends of the Milwaukee Public Library will feature a book sale, plus the Milwaukee Fire Department's Survive Alive House and fire engine will be on-site for Fire Prevention Month.
