Bark your calendars for events all summer long that support the MKE Dog Park.
Join us for Yappy Hour until 9 p.m. where 10% of all proceeds will benefit the MKE Dog Park. Playful Pup Bakery and Fin & Ruby will have goodies for the dogs and Romero’s Taco Truck will have food for the humans.
What better way to beat the heat than with kiddie (doggie) pools, free “Pup Pops” from Pete’s Pops, and “pup-accinos” from Interval. The Wisconsin Humane Society will have information about adopting, fostering, and volunteering. Don’t forget to stop by our table to hear about the MKE Dog Park.
Milwaukee Paws Pet Care and other local businesses will be at Trostel Square until 4 p.m. with activities and treats for both dogs and humans. Trostel Square will be offering tours of their available units.
Who doesn’t love a good photo opportunity with you and your pup? A $10 donation will get you a 4x6 printed photo taken by Katy B Photography and will go towards the MKE Dog Park. Pick up some homemade, gluten-free dog treats from Auntie Jennie’s Barkery after getting your photo taken!
The MKE Dog park is a dynamic 12,000-square-foot space that will transform the west bank of the Milwaukee River on N. Plankinton Avenue and W. Clybourn Street into Downtown Milwaukee’s first public dog park and revitalize this important neighborhood gateway. Learn more about the project at www.MKEDogPark.com and in the latest version of the MKE BluePrint here. Don’t forget to follow us at @MKEDogPark.
