Love is in the air, Milwaukee! Whether you’re sharing it with someone special, or spending it with friends and family, here are a few ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day downtown this year:

See Romancing the Stars at the Milwaukee Public Museum – 800 W Wells St.

Go for a romantic evening under the stars without having to be out in the cold. See Romancing the Stars at the Milwaukee Public Museum Planetarium for only $25 per couple. Along with the show, each couple will receive a red rose and a box of chocolates to complete the date night.

Give the Gift of Dance at Fred Astaire Dance Studios – 625 E St. Paul Ave

Get your groove on with a Valentine’s Package at Fred Astaire Dance Studios. The package includes two private dance lessons and one social dance party for only $40. This would be the perfect gift to sweep someone off their feet – literally.

Slice of Ice at Red Arrow Park – 920 N Water St.

If the cold never bothered you anyway, take your partner ice skating at Red Arrow Park. After skating around the rink hand-in-hand, Starbucks is just steps away if you need to warm up with a hot chocolate.

Relax at Float MKE – 211 W Freshwater Way

Are you both in need of a relaxing treat? With a float therapy session from Float Milwaukee you can get away from your busy schedules and relieve stress. Purchase a Valentine’s gift card by February 14, and get two, 65-minute sessions for only $95.

Speed Dating Social Event at Red Lion Pub – 1850 N Water St.

Red Lion is hosting a Speed Dating Social Event on February 13 for those of you seeking something new. Register you and your friends for $15 a person, and get two free drinks, a fun night out and maybe make some new connections.

Flowers for Dreams at the Milwaukee Public Market – 400 N Water St.

Get your sweetheart a beautiful bouquet from Flowers for Dreams pop-up location at the Milwaukee Public Market through February 14. Not only will they create a special arrangement that will be sure to put a smile on their face, but 25 percent of their profits will go to Milwaukee charities.

#LoveMKE – The Hop

Over the next two weeks, The Hop will have love-themed decorations and selfie-spots for you to snap a pic and share with us what you love about Milwaukee. Everyone that posts with #LoveMKE will be entered to win a $100 gift card to the Milwaukee Public Market. And on Valentine’s Day, our Public Service Ambassadors will be aboard The Hop handing out valentines to passengers that double as coupons to local businesses.
