The weather is finally nice out, which means that it is patio season! Some of the best days are spent on a patio, sipping a cold drink in the sun. What better way to patio-hop than with your dog? Not all patios allow dogs, so we compiled a list of some of our favorite dog-friendly patios.


Amilinda

315 E Wisconsin Ave
Enjoy Spanish and Portuguese inspired dishes with your dog beside you. Ingredients are locally sourced, so the menu changes regularly. Chef Gregory León is a James Beard Award nominated chef (and has 2 dogs).

Bottle House 42

1130 N 9th St
Sitting outside, drinking a beer alongside your pup just feels right. This former Pabst Brewing Company building turned brewery (and restaurant, beer hall, event venue) is the perfect place to hang out, eat, and drink.

This Deer District bar creates an atmosphere that celebrates Wisconsin. They went above and beyond being dog friendly by hosting the last Wag Wednesday, with 10% of pub proceeds going towards the MKE Dog Park.

Milwaukee Brat House Downtown

The menu features a mix of German and American food and, of course, beer. The patio and beer garden have great atmospheres to sit and relax with your canine pal.

The Yard at the Iron Horse Hotel

500 W Florida St
This downtown-adjacent patio is a part of the dog-friendly Iron Horse Hotel. The Yard serves food and drinks while offering communal fire pits, live music, and trivia nights.
