Week 5 (May 14-20, 2020): Nominate an essential or frontline worker to win a Milwaukee gift package.

In an unprecedented season, Milwaukeeans have risen to the challenge by adapting and uniting. We're celebrating the heroes who have kept our city running while Milwaukee remains Safer At Home - the healthcare workers, transit operators, grocery store staff, first responders, property managers, restaurant staff, and all essential and frontline workers.

Visit Milwaukee Downtown on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to nominate a deserving hero to win a downtown prize package, including a hotel stay, dining gift card & more. Plus, your hero's likeness will be included in the city's next mural, "The Hero in You" by Ken Brown, coming to MacArthur Square this summer.

We're giving away $5,000 in downtown gift cards

Why? To encourage support for downtown businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, and to celebrate the good things happening in our community. In March, we kicked off our giveaways by partnering with the Downtown Neighbors Association to give away $4,000 in gift cards.

In April and May, Milwaukee Downtown is encouraging Milwaukeeans to "MKE A Difference," with continued opportunities to support the downtown community. Every week beginning April 6, we'll announce a new way to win, and we'll draw to winners for downtown prize packages.
