Treat Yourself for Riding The Hop This Halloween Weekend!
Hop aboard The Hop, presented by Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, this Saturday, October 30, for assorted candy courtesy of Hintz-Giuffre CPAs, along with special Colectivo coloring books available on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 1 PM. Keep an eye out for Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21's Public Service Ambassadors, who will be on board each in-service streetcar dishing out special Halloween treats!
Riders are encouraged to come in family-friendly costumes – especially Hop, or streetcar-themed costumes, and share their selfies on the streetcar using #thehopmke for the chance to win a Hop T-shirt. While costumes aren’t required, please keep in mind that masks still are on all forms of public transit as we all work to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Streetcar riders can plan their trip by seeing the real-time positions of the streetcars and exploring destinations or parking options along the route by visiting thehopmke.com/interactive-map. The Transloc app also provides real-time streetcar information and can be accessed via thehopmke.com/real-time-app.
