Moment for Meditation: Living with Intention - Mindfulness Meditation
Schlitz Park - Sampson Square (1543 N. 2nd Street)
Join us in a beautiful outdoor setting to bring kind awareness to the present moment to live more intentionally. During this one-hour class, you’ll learn mindfulness meditation techniques which have multiple health benefits like reducing stress, anxiety and cortisol levels. It will be a unique and delightful opportunity to enhance your awareness and increase your calm right in the middle of Downtown! For this session we will be sitting on chairs which will be provided. You may want to bring a water bottle, cushion, and journal for taking notes. Everyone is welcome no matter your level of experience with mindfulness meditation. Free to attend. Downtown employees will enjoy free admission to MSOE’s Grohmann Museum, 1000 N. Broadway, with proof of employment. Museum hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday – Friday.
