Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival Kickoff Extravaganza

It will be a celebration of holiday peace and love as we illuminate more than a half million twinkling lights sprinkled throughout Downtown Milwaukee. Kickoff festivities will include live music, dance performances, free cookies and hot cocoa, fireworks, a visit from the Clauses and more. Plus, you can hop on the Jingle Bus for free after the show!  

Can’t make it Downtown? Tune in to WISN 12 at 6:30pm for a live broadcast, presented by Stein’s Garden & Home. 

A Holiday Variety Show Packed With Local Entertainment

The bright night of festivity will begin at 5:30pm with pre-show entertainment by Kid Boogie Down. Following this dance warm-up, performances by DJ Shawna, Erin Fricker, First Stage, Dance Academy of Mexico, Jenny Thiel, the Marquette University Gospel Choir, Studio K Flamenco and Ben Mulwana will unfold. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also make an appearance. The evening will wrap up with a fireworks show, shortly before 7pm. Guests in attendance will receive free cocoa and cookies and can take part in free Jingle Bus rides, operated by KB Excursions, after the fireworks.
