Take Art for a Spin

In the summer of 2024, Downtown Milwaukee visitors were encouraged to take art for a spin. A multi-sensory public art installation brought pedal-powered projections to the Milwaukee RiverWalk at Chase Tower.

LeMonde Studio’s Light Lane, presented in partnership with Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21, the Milwaukee Riverwalk District and Chase Tower, featured four stationary bikes that emit light and sound when pedaled. The projections include stanzas from an original poem by Dasha Kelly Hamilton called “Light Cycles.”
